Is just a thought, but I realise something.Since I step in the land down under, the only thing that i learn others than uni,is being more malay.Huh,wth, how can it be?I dont know,is just the people that we hang around.I realise that most of my friends are malay, and is not a kinda bad thing, but u fly over 10,000 miles to be with malays???Haha, thank god that in my batch and my course,im the only malay speaking oriented. So with them,i speak english. If not, hell,i became more malay than ever.Go aussie to learn malay. Is hilarious. To think about it,I learn the word sengal, pasrah and etc while was here.I know the existense of the word but never used it.Is just hilarious. This is the common problem among our local sponser kids.We should hang around with aussies, not malay. We should change our attitude. Is not a bad thing hang with malays,is just we are here to learn their culture, not being a better malay. Guess, the world has been turn upside down...

Heh, mister, you are right. Duduk oversea, tinggal ngan melayu, makan nasi hari hari, cakap melayu hari hari.
I think the best way is to mix balancely. Mix around, but still keep Malay friends you really feel comfortable with. But cannot la comfortable all the time, sometimes kene kuar comfort zone gak kan.
Pasrah! hahaa
hehe i remember when i first came to sydney, throughout first yr, i sooo wanted to broaden up my horizons n all (fuiyoo ayat POYO..haha) n wanted to really feel the aussie-ness, the culture n all... cos since im a budak pet, i still stay with malays n i rasa mcm tak duduk overseas kan.
so nway, masa 1st yr, i only joined the salsa club, unsw's cheerleadin club, volunteered at most of the roundhouse's events... n yeaa it was great n all, but i felt like i was tryin too hard... cos i took so much effort wanting to feel the oversea-ness n stuff.
but d prob with me masa tu, i tak pandai balance. nak kawan ngan mat salleh je...so i didnt join umno, didt go for mgm, didnt participate at most msian events...teruk kan? hihi. hence, i tak kenal ida or dewi or most of them masa tu....
..until lahh 2nd yr... when i finally start to socialize n meet more of the msian community here... baru sedar that ada byk gang msia best like u guys, ida n all ...u guys r sooo sempoi...then i realized, lepak ngan korang lagi best, cos mayb melayus are funnier. hahahhahahh. n mayb i finally feel comfortable n all...
er ok im like storytellin here.. hahahha nway.... the point is, like ida said, must pandai2 balance.
thats one of the many things ive learnt too since studyin abroad. always be open to meet different kinds of ppl (tak kira mat salleh or melayu or watever)..u'd never guess the many things u'll learn from these many ppl. n yea, BALANCE is the key.
hihihihi...oleh itu, ckp pun sgt lah balanced...tulis kejap in bm, kejap in english. gawd. hahhahahhah
take care fuzzy wuzzyyy
oh, lagi satu... being open to new things n exposing ourselves with learnin the oz culture n all, they're such great benefits for us.
another thing i've realized too, the brotherhood/sisterhood/frenship ties between us malays or msians here overseas, adalah sooo sooo strong. ive never felt such great frenship until i came here. cos of our small community n all kan, n we depend on each other n stuff. i love love these strong frenship ties between us all =)
we malayz be SENGALing togetha!! hahahahh cheerz mayyte!! kikiki
